New crochet projects

I just finished crocheting two scaves for the 2011 Special Olympics USA Scarf Project

The Scarves folded in half

Im also working on another baby blanket for another friend who is having a baby girl... she didnt want too many pink things so the blanket is in coral lol its not so pink

I still have 2 more rows of hearts and the ruffle border to do. This pattern is from the book Our Best Baby Afghans by Leisure Arts



I've also been dabbling in purse, handbag and clutch making. Here are a few pics of my first attempt at a fully lined crocheted clutch. It didnt go as well as I wanted since I dont have a working sewing machine :( boo

Pink & Zebra, finally finished!

My latest creation. It's finally finished and im so in love with it. It's one of my favorites by far! It's also the first time i've used ribbon on a blanket but i'll definitely be using it more often.

I'm currently working on a beautiful very PINK baby blanket for my friend... it's her first girl and I really wanted to make her something extra special. I went through dozens of books and went on a million different sites looking for the "perfect" pattern and after trying out a few patterns I finally settled with one. It's easy and fun and i love it. So here are the pics of this lovely work in progress:
That's all for right now... when i get further along i'll post more. I've been working on it for about a week and i'm almost finished! yay!

well 2010 is here and i'd love to say that I have been a crocheting maniac but that is not the case at all.

I've got a beautiful blanket...

I've been absent...

My apologies, i've just been consumed by a new blanket i'm working on. It's another swirl pattern blanket! I'm almost finished an i'm super excited about it. This one I hope to sell though

I said in my previous entry that I found a bunch of blankets that i've made and never gave away or done anything with. I said i'd post pictures of them so here they are...

My favorite blanket that i've made thus far, I made this for a dear friend for her new baby boy.

I made this one for another dear friend who also had a baby boy this year, the blanket colors matched her baby shower colors, baby blue and chocolate brown

Finally a blanket for a baby girl! I was excited to make this one and it took me a few weeks to make. My friend asked me to make this for a friend of hers who is having a baby girl next month. This one was worked with two strands of yarn, baby pink and lavender.

I made this one just to make it... I found this pattern and decided I had to try it out, i'm also currently making this one in baby pink!
