Aluminum Crochet Hook Case

My Case :)

I've needed one of these for a long time and now I have one! I found this Pattern on One Little Rayndrop's blog, her cases look amazing.  I had to modify mine some, I didn't have any hard plastic to go on the inside of the cover as the pattern suggests so I used cardboard instead. By me using cardboard I had to change the pattern that I used on the outside cover so that there weren't any spaces to show the cardboard. I think it worked pretty well though. :)

I was pleased with the end result for my first try at it but I plan on making another one, a bigger one seeing as I have to put double the crochet hooks in almost every spot LOL.

I like so much how yours turned out, I found your blog from another blog that posted the pattern link, I'm now working on my case, i'm a beginner in crochet, I reached till row 28 and couldn't go on, i do not understand the rest of the pattern, I wonder if you can give me some pointers concerning this part and what did you do? thank you so much :)

  4. I have clover amour hooks and I'm scared they wouldn't fit. Do you think bigger yarn and needle would do the trick?

    1. I'm not familiar with the Clover Amour Hooks but from what I've seen as long as you use the same hook size as directed I don't see why it wouldn't work.
